Cookie Usage Statement
VisiFI uses cookies to enable users to get a custom visit on their hosted websites. Whenever a user returns to one of these websites, the browser sends back these cookies to allow the user to be provided a simple, faster personalized browsing experience by avoiding the repetition of certain steps, such as data entry, during subsequent visits.
VisiFI does not store personal identifying information (such as addresses and passwords) in the cookies used.
The categories of cookies typically collected, and their purposes, are set out below.
- Technical and necessary cookies: Technical cookies are only used “to send a communication via an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary to the Company’s service provider explicitly requested by the contracting party or the user to provide the service in question” (cf. Article 122, para. 1, of the Code). These cookies do not collect personal information and are not for commercial purposes. Therefore, they do not require the user’s consent.

For analytics cookies to be comparable with technical cookies, they must be anonymized, be used solely to produce aggregate statistics and the third parties that provide the Publisher the Web measurement service must refrain from combining such analytics cookies with other processing (customer files or statistics regarding visits to other sites, unless such domains or websites are attributable to the same entrepreneurial group) or from transmitting them to third parties.
Functionality cookies
They allow users to browse the site according to a series of selected criteria (e.g., language) so as to provide them with the best possible browsing experience. The information gathered by this type of cookies is in anonymous form. The site functions optimally if technical cookies are enabled.
- Preference cookies
Preference cookies allow the website to store information such as the layout or users’ location.
- Other statistics
Statistical cookies allow publishers to understand how users interact with their sites by conveying information in anonymous form. They are distinct from those strictly necessary to measure the site’s performance and functionality.
- Marketing cookies
Marketing (or profiling) cookies attribute specific recurring actions in the browsing of the sites to identified or identifiable users and allow publishers to create an increasingly personalized site browsing experience, as well as to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user on the Internet.
